Service Description
Algebra 2 pushes students beyond the basics and into real mathematical power. From functions and polynomials to logarithms, rational expressions, and advanced graphing, I help students connect concepts, recognize patterns, and solve complex problems with confidence. This course strengthens analytical thinking, prepares students for precalculus, and builds the skills they need for STEM success. Topics covered include but are not limited to: - Linear, quadratic, polynomial, and rational functions - Complex numbers & imaginary operations - Exponential & logarithmic functions - Systems of equations & inequalities - Conic sections (parabolas, circles, ellipses, hyperbolas) - Polynomial division & factoring techniques - Rational expressions & equations - Radical expressions & equations - Sequences & series - Probability & basic statistics - Graphing advanced functions - Real‑world modeling & problem‑solving strategies
Preparation Policy
To ensure that every tutoring session is productive, personalized, and fully prepared, all students are required to submit the specific topic or assignment they would like to cover at least 24 hours before their scheduled session. Uploads of homework and class material are encouraged. Providing this information in advance allows tutors to: - Prepare targeted explanations and examples - Create customized practice problems - Review any relevant materials you share Make the most efficient use of our time together If a topic is not submitted within the 24‑hour window, the session may need to be rescheduled or used for general review instead of targeted instruction.
