Service Description
This course covers world regions, continents, countries, capitals, landforms, and major physical features. Students learn practical skills like using map keys, identifying coordinates, understanding scale, and recognizing geographic patterns. Perfect for learners who want strong foundational geography knowledge for school, travel, or general world awareness. Topics covered include but are not limited to: - How to read map keys, symbols, and legends - Latitude, longitude, and coordinates - Compass directions and navigation - World Regions & Continents: North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceania, Polar regions - All Countries, Capitals, & National Flags - Political boundaries - Cultural regions - Physical Geography: Mountains, rivers, deserts, oceans - Climate zones - Natural landforms - Plate boundaries - How geography affects culture - How geography affects climate - How geography affects history - Real‑world map interpretation (weather maps, travel maps, etc.)
Preparation Policy
To ensure that every tutoring session is productive, personalized, and fully prepared, all students are required to submit the specific topic or assignment they would like to cover at least 24 hours before their scheduled session. Uploads of homework and class material are encouraged. Providing this information in advance allows tutors to: - Prepare targeted explanations and examples - Create customized practice problems - Review any relevant materials you share Make the most efficient use of our time together If a topic is not submitted within the 24‑hour window, the session may need to be rescheduled or used for general review instead of targeted instruction.
